The Copyette Series

Your life moves fast. Why should your cassette duplicator slow you down? One of the best values in cassette duplication, the Copyette EH Series zips along as fast as you do. It provides the quality and reliability you demand, and the speed you need, all at the affordable price you want. The series offers one touch copying (tape rewinds to the beginning, copies, then rewinds again), erase heads (allows cassettes to be reused, saving you money), as well as the ability to copy both sides of up to three cassettes in mono or stereo at 16x normal speed. In addition, all Copyette EH duplicators include a track select feature, optical, non-reflective end-of-tape sensing system (for gentle tape handling), a carrying handle for portability, a removable power cord and a protective hard cover for storage.
The Copyette EH 1-2-1 produces one copy from a cassette master. Stereo (1/4 track) and Mono (1/2 track) versions.

The Copyette EH 1-2-3 produces up to three copies from a cassette master. Features DC servo motors for unmatched reliability. Stereo (1/4 track) and Mono (1/2 track) versions.

Series

Rewinds a C-60 cassette in 30 seconds
—no one is faster!

Expandable up to 67 copies at once

Models available in either 8x or 16x normal speed

Microprocessor-controlled

Two year limited warranty

Think how much you could accomplish if you could do 59 things at once. You can, with a little help from the new XGEN series of cassette duplicators from Telex. We understand your need for speed, which is why XGEN is available in either 8x or 16x speed models, rewinds a C-60 in 30 seconds (no one is faster), and is expandable up to 59 copy positions at once… 16 more copies than any other duplicator on the market! In addition, two master stations can be linked together for additional 3-pocket copying. Since we know you don’t have time to deal with service calls either, we built XGEN to last. A microprocessor-controlled design (fewer moving parts), direct drive motors (quiet operation, more accurate, no gears to break down), Ferrite or XL heads (longer wear), and modular cassette pockets with a unique "heads up" platform, all extend the life of the unit. XGEN is available in two channel (mono) or four channel (stereo), and can be configured to meet almost any requirement. All models include Ferrite erase heads, track select, modular cassette pockets, end-of-tape sensing, auto or manual operation, cleaning cycle, audible tone end-of-copy, and chrome tape copying option on select models (stereo models with XL or Ferrite heads). Jump start your day today with a new XGEN Series Cassette Duplicator!

Your Choice of Head Styles:
Standard, XL or Ferrite

XGEN gives you the flexibility to choose the head that is right for your requirements.

Standard: The quality standard grade head is designed for normal production levels, and provides good frequency response and crosstalk rejection characteristics.

For heavy duty/high volume applications, we have two options:

XL: The XL head offers long life with exceptional audio response and channel separation (crosstalk rejection).

Ferrite: The Ferrite head provides good general audio properties and excellent head life.

In general, if your highest priority is audio quality, XL is your best choice; if your primary concern is head wear, select the Ferrite head.

Recommended Tape Usage for the XGEN Series

Use only high quality cassette tapes with your XGEN system. Some inexpensive tapes can cause poor quality recordings and premature tape head wear. For Ferrite or XL models of XGEN, you can use either normal bias 120 µs (Type 1) or high bias (70 µs Cr02/Type II) types of cassettes. For Standard model XGEN duplicators, only normal bias cassettes can be used. You can use C-30, C-60 or C-90 cassettes, but C-120 cassettes are likely to break and thus are not recommended. Metal (Type IV) tapes are not recommended.
