Smart Pad

In a perfect world all churches would have a trained staff of technically oriented folks who ran the sound and video systems every week. That, however, is not the reality for most churches. They depend on volunteers with varying levels of technical savvy. And, it’s not always the same volunteers every week. Since often there is little time to train these people on how to use the equipment they pretty much have to figure it out as they go along. Many volunteers find that the numerous remotes – projector, DVD, VCR, screen, sound devices, etc. – can be overwhelming and can cause confusion.

To make things easier on your volunteers and to keep them from becoming discouraged (and to keep them interested in volunteering) we are now offering an affordable and easy-to-use one-touch control system for all your video and sound devices.

The Smart Pad System allows all devices that are remote controllable to be operated by a single, easy to use, one-touch control keypad.

To make things even simpler, several events can be programmed to a single button. For example, one touch could lower the screen, turn the projector on in video mode, turn on the DVD player and set the sound level to the appropriate setting.

This unit can be used anywhere in the sanctuary. If no one is available to run sound for a Wednesday night service everything can be controlled right from the stage. Or, if a last minute substitute is necessary in the sound booth do to illness or emergency, the Smart Pad System will make it simple for the new recruit to operate the multimedia equipment.
